(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani called yesterday for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer today. The prayer is performed in line with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when rainfall is lacking. The Emir will perform Istisqa prayer at Al Wajbah prayer area along with citizens.
