Jordan- Crown Prince Visits Civil Defence Department

AMMAN —AlGhad— His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein visited the Civil Defence Department (CDD) on Wednesday to check on the CDD's readiness to deal with possible unusual weather conditions during the winter season.

His Highness stressed the importance of continuing efforts to develop the CDD to improve services it provides to citizens, according to Petra, the Jordan News Agency.

During the visit, Prince Hussein met with CDD Director General Mustafa Bazaiah.

He presented the Crown Prince with a briefing about the CDD's strategy.

His Highness voiced satisfaction over the advanced level the CDD has reached in various fields.

Prince Hussein also toured the command, control and operations centre as well as other facilities used by the CDD and checked on modern techniques, technology and equipment used to improve services and performance.
