(MENAFN) A car caught fire on Sharjah's Mleiha Road on Monday causing two Emiratis and their maid to burn to death, according to the police.
A top traffic police official said that the car hit a cement barrier and then veered off the road after the tire burst, before crashing into a streetlight.
The two Emiratis - aged 71 and 61 - and their maid died before first responders could reach the scene.
Their bodies have been transferred to the morgue for examination.
The bursting of the tire led to the fire that took over the whole vehicle burning everyone inside alive.
