(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Considering cyber resilience as the key success factor for tackling cybersecurity threats and continuing the success of the previous editions, The Information Technology Authority (ITA), represented by OCERT, is to host 'The 6th Annual Regional Cybersecurity Summit'.
The regional Summit is organised by ITU- Arab Regional Cybersecurity Center in collaboration with White Paper Summits (WPS) and Nispana Innovative Platforms as event management partner.
The 6th Regional Cyber Security Summit aims at creating shared learning and dialogue regarding cybersecurity challenges and issues, facilitating the exchange of information, ideas, solutions and emerging practices that could improve cybersecurity posture as well as identifying current priority areas in cybersecurity at the local, regional and international levels. In addition, the summit seeks to enhance cross border collaboration with government, industry and critical infrastructure stakeholders that will impact global preparedness.
The sixth edition will cover a range of topics, highlighting the current trends and future threats, which are affecting organisations and business effectiveness.
The summit will bring over 350+ attendees from across the Arab region to form new partnerships and identify latest technologies to combat cyber threats. The two-day summit will also host and engage the most promising and emerging regional and global firms, from critical national Infrastructure sectors including Energy and Utilities, Defense and Aviation, Financial Institutions, Hospitality, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Government Institutions.
