(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met yesterday at the Emiri Diwan with Omani Interior Minister Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal bin Said al-Busaidi and his accompanying delegation. The Omani team is in Doha to take part in the first Major Event Safety and Security Conference. The Omani minister conveyed greetings of Sultan Qaboos bin Said to His Highness the Emir and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people. The Emir entrusted the minister with his greetings and wishes to Sultan Qaboos and more development and growth to the fraternal Omani people. The meeting reviewed bilateral ties and means of boosting them, besides discussing regional and international issues of mutual interest. HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani attended the meeting.
