UAE- Car bursts into flames in RAK, no casualties reported


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A massive fire broke out in a car at the Julphar area in Ras Al Khaimah. Sources at the RAK Civil Defence said the car suddenly burst into flames without any apparent reason. No casualties were reported.

Having been alerted of the blaze, the operations room of the RAK Police dispatched traffic police, paramedics and rescue teams to the site. Firefighters managed to put out the fire quickly, said sources.

Investigations are on to identify the reasons behind the fire. "The fire case has been referred to the authorities concerned for legal action."
