Renovated Mamoura park opens to public


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The renovated Al Mamoura Family Park was opened to the public yesterday following an upgrade of all its facilities and services.
The opening ceremony was attended by the director of Doha Municipality Jamal Matar al-Nuaimi, director of the Public Gardens Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) Mohamed Ali al-Khuri, and other MME officials and guests.
Al-Nuaimi said the park has undergone a through renovation and now features besides its extensive green areas and trees equipment that will suit visitors of all age groups.
It also has a kids' play area, football fields, and grounds for others sports and games.
Al-Khuri said the park is spread over some 6,500sq m, stressing that more safety and convenience features have been added to it during the renovation process.
In a post on social media, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment said Al Mamoura Family Park is 'ready to welcome visitors.
