EU condemns terrorist attack on TV station in Kabul
Two security workers, including one woman, and 20 others were injured in this morning attack.
'The EU Delegation presents its condolences to the families of the victims and its sincere wishes of recovery to those who were injured. It condemns in the strongest possible terms this vile aggression against freedom of media,' the statement said.
'I have no doubt that despite this new attack journalists of will continue to perform with pride their noble mission. They have all our support,' said Ambassador Pierre Mayaudon, the Head of the EU Delegation in Kabul.
This assault occurred just a few days after the 'International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists'. The EU Delegation urged Afghan authorities to spare no efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
