Houthi Missile fired at Riyadh


(MENAFN)Senior Saudi officials said on Monday that a Houthi missile fired at Riyadh, and Saudi Arabia suspects Iran is behind it, and the country is ready to prevent any violation on its national security.

"The Kingdom reserves the right to respond in a timely manner to the hostile actions of the Iranian regime," Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir stated.

"Iranian interventions in the region are detrimental to the security of neighboring countries and affect international peace and security. We will not allow any infringement of our national security." He added.

The Houthi missile was fired into Saudi Arabia on Saturday night, and Saudi defense forces managed to interrupt it and shot it down over King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, and there were no victims.
