(MENAFN) One of the units of the Leading German group Bauer Environment has been awarded a major contract by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) to expand the world's biggest industrial constructed wetland in the sultanate.
Major provider of water treatment solutions, Bauer Nimr, will be responsible for designing constructing and operating the plant until 2044, the deal stated, according to a report by the Muscat Daily.
By the end of 2019, construction will be finished, after which Bauer will operate the plant on a 25-year basis, it stated.
