Kuwait Amir's representative highlights distinguished ties with Egypt


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt, Nov 5 (KUNA) -- Representative of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Premier and Finance Minister Anas Al-Saleh, underlined Sunday the distinguished relations between Kuwait and Egypt.

Al-Saleh was speaking to KUNA after attending the inauguration of the World Youth Forum, held in Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh resort.

Al-Saleh, who said he was honored to represent His Highness the Amir to the forum, asserted that His Highness the Amir instructed a senior delegation to participate in the forum.

"We are looking forward for the further activation of relations between the two countries in order to develop the Arab youth," he said.

Al-Saleh said the youth were the foundation of every society and have a great role in sustainable development.

Kuwait, said the senior official, was among the top countries taking care of the youth and His Highness the Amir has many initiatives to develop youth.

"Our full attention, coupled with cooperation between the two (executive and legislative) authorities is on the Arab youth," said Al-Saleh. (pickup previous) ms.rg.bs
