Qatar- Meeting highlights Lekhwiya's efforts

Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has held an open meeting in the framework of the 'Lekhwiya - Distinction and Excellence forum. The forum organised by the Force's public relations and moral guidance.

The meeting hosted Olympic champion Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah, champion of rally and shooting, in the presence of Deputy Commander of Lekhwiya Brig. Gen. Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani, along with a number of department directors, group leaders and assistants, officers, and individuals. Al Attiyah praised Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's great attention, patronage and constant guidance to support the distinguished Qatari youth.

He praised the efforts of Qatar Olympic Committee under the chairmanship of H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, which provides great support to young athletes.

He stressed the need for Qatari youth to exert greater efforts in planning their future and facing the difficulties and obstacles they face for the renaissance of the homeland, especially that the State does not skimp on the young people anything, and provides them with all possibilities.

Al Attiyah commended the efforts and capabilities of the Lekhwiya personnel and their excellence in various fields. He praised the efforts made by Prime Minister and Interior Minister and Commander of Lekhwiya H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani to make the Force take important steps towards excellence, to serve Qatar.

Lekhwiya has been strong and distinct since its establishment, and has continued on this approach to be a tool to achieve internal security in the country, Al Attiyah said, noting that Lekhwiya adopted a thoughtful approach contributed to the continuation of its success.
