Kuwait- Iraqi Pres. thanks int'l coalition support in war against IS
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Nov 4 (KUNA) -- Iraqi President Fuad Masum Saturday commended the US-led international coalition's support for Iraqi forces in the war against so-called Islamic State (IS).
Masum, in a statement, congratulated the forces for the liberation of Al-Qaem city, west of Anbar province, from the IS control.
This victory, he added, was the fruit of sacrifices of the Iraqi forces, who announced the liberation of Al-Qaem yesterday.
Masum said the Iraqis were determined to fight IS, rebuild their country and pursue with conciliation and national unity nationwide. (end) ahh.bs
