Riyadh.. Sudanese conjoined twins to be treated


(MENAFN)King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Children in King Abdul Aziz Medical City in Riyadh is having a surgery to separate a Sudanese Siamese twins (Jana and Juad) on Sunday, under the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, supervisor general of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), confirmed the efforts being undertaken by the Kingdom in helping those in need.

He noted that the twins are 13-month-old females and are joined at the chest and abdomen, and the success rate for the surgery is likely to be 60 percent.
