New York, Safar 14, 1439, November 03, 2017, SPA -- The State of Kuwait expressed its deep sorrow and concern at the flagrant violations of the rights of the Rohingyas, whose right to life is paramount.
This came in the speech of the Permanent Delegation of Kuwait to the United Nations, which was delivered by the First Secretary Jawahar Ibrahim Al-Duaij Al-Sabah during the debate on item 67 of the agenda of the General Assembly entitled "Report of the Human Rights Council" yesterday.
It was regrettable that serious and flagrant violations of human rights persisted in many regions of the world, a very complex challenge which the international community must confront with care and wisdom.
