OSCE SMM records more than 700 obstacles to activities of observers

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine recorded about 700 violations and obstacles to the activities of the monitoring mission.

Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Nearly 700 restrictions related to the delay in the activities of the monitoring mission were recorded this year. Most of these cases were recorded near uncontrolled sections on the border with the Russian Federation," Hug said.

He noted that the parties to the conflict should allow the monitoring mission to carry out its work and provide access to uncontrolled territories.
