ABU DHABI, 3rd November, 2017 (WAM) – The UAE experience in human tolerance, indicator of religious tolerance in Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Zayed's vision of tolerance will be the key highlights of the Second Tolerance Forum which Zayed House for Islamic Culture (ZHIC) will hold at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi on Sunday, 5th November.

''The aim of the Forum is to establish the values of tolerance, moderation and human co-existence besides demonstrating the unique image of the UAE with regard to peaceful co-existence and religious tolerance as there are more than 200 multicultural nationalities living peacefully in the Emirates, according to organisers.

Dr. Nedal al Tinaiji, Director-General of ZHIC, noted that the wise UAE leadership has always supported the humanitarian and moral principles in society. To an extent that several entities have taken it within themselves to enhance and establish tolerance.

Dr. al Tinaiji added that the Second Tolerance Forum titled "Tolerance: Approach & Deportment" comes in conjunction with the UAE vision which aims to create a safe and confident society that is open to the world. This would also realise ZHIC's values, which focus on introducing the Islamic culture and portraying the unique image of the UAE with regard to peaceful co-existence and religious tolerance. The Forum hosts a number of speakers of specialised academicians that will present their expertise and studies on tolerance.

The event will comprise two sessions entitled "Components of Upholding Human Tolerance" and "Roadmap for Universal Tolerance". The sessions will discuss several topics such as "UAE Experience in Human Tolerance; Tolerance in Zayed Thought; Challenges of International Tolerance and Mechanisms to Overcome Them; Media Steering of International Tolerance in Open Spaces."

The gathering for the first tolerance forum titled "Tolerance is the Basic of our Civilization" took place last year in which distinguished academicians and presenters took part.
