A new version of Metrash2 mobile app has been launched with service and design enhancements including touch ID login feature. Residence Permit issuing and user notification services have also been added. A number of inquiry services can be accessed through the mobile app's latest version without logging in.
To activate touch ID, one has to record his fingerprint in the settings after signing in with his password. Once it is set the user can login with with touch ID, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in its official Facebook account. Metrash 2 is an interactive service-oriented Mobile app by MoI and available on App store, play store and Windows store.
The MoI recently issued statistics showing that the number of transactions done by Metrash2 during the last half of October was 93114 and inquiry transactions reached 437058.
The statistics also showed that the number of Metrash2 subscribers has reached 382,422 subscribers. Now 211 electronic services are available through Metrash2 and the website of the Ministry.
Metrash2 is available in six languages including Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Urdu and Malayalam and services include visa, residence, traffic, community police, CID in addition to different inquiry services.
