WhatsApp messaging service not working in many parts of the world

Doha: WhatsApp messaging service is down in many parts of the world, including Qatar. Many users have taken to twitter to complain that the service not accessible in many parts of the world.

The messaging app was down in Qatar for the last hour or so and many users had taken to other social media platforms to express their frustration.

The app is not available in many parts of western Europe and Asia.

Accordding to independent 'People can't send or receive messages using the Facebook-owned app, apparently because of a server problem.

The website Down Detector showed a huge spike in problems with the app, suggesting that almost everyone is unable to get online.

There were users from India, South Africa, Greece, Romania, Croatia etc complaining that the service is down for them.

Twitter users were having a great day posting hilarious messages about the Whatsapp outage. Here are some of the tweets.
