Kuwait- Domestic office owners warned

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry will refer domestic labor offices proven to have not complied with its instructions to the Competition Protection Authority for investigation and other necessary action, reports Annahar daily quoting sources.

Sources revealed the ministry gave these offices two weeks to submit their quotations in sealed envelopes to the Commercial Control Department to familiarize the minister with the higher ceiling for applications in case the offices agree on the cost of hiring workers from countries that are allowed to send workers abroad.

Sources confirmed the ministry will approve fees for hiring workers, adding that acting Minister of Commerce and Industry and State Minister for Youth Affairs Khalid Al-Roudhan earlier met the owners of domestic labor offices and warned them against manipulating fees as he will use all applicable laws to reduce fees through the legal power granted to him.
