Qatar- West Industrial Street to be closed for 11 days
(MENAFN- Gulf Times)
A temporary closure will be in place for 11 days from Friday on the West Industrial Street from Roundabout 33 to Roundabout 2.
Traffic through the route will resume on November 14, according to an Ashghal statement.
The closure will enable the authorities to lay the final asphalt on the West Industrial Street. The road will then open to traffic with four lanes in each direction. All traffic markings and signs and signals have been installed.
Road users can use the local roads in the area in addition to Salwa Road, East Industrial Street and Street 33 as alternative roads (as shown on the map) during the closure period.
The closure is being implemented as part of Phase I of construction works to upgrade Doha's Industrial Area, which aims to increase the capacity of roads and support higher traffic volumes in addition to providing the Industrial Area with a fully integrated infrastructure.
