(MENAFN) A vast archive withholding close Al-Qaeda documents was released by the CIA on Wednesday; the archive that includes global extremist's handwriting diary was seized in the fatal 2011 raid on his residence at a Pakistani compound.
Images of diary pages left by the Saudi-born Bin-Laden were found in the file, as well as a wedding video that includes the first public images of his son Hamza as an adult.
CIA Director Mike Pompeo said, "Today's release ... provides the opportunity for the American people to gain further insights into the plans and workings of this terrorist organization".
The documents may withhold information linking Al-Qaeda to Iran.
