HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser met in her office at Qatar Foundation (QF) yesterday the Prime Minister of Italy Paolo Gentiloni at the Qatar National Library (QNL) building in Education City.
The meeting was attended by H E Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice-Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, and members of the official delegation accompanying the Italian Prime Minister.
During the meeting, a number of topics related to cooperation in the fields of education and scientific research were discussed.
After the meeting, the Italian Prime Minister accompanied by H H Sheikha Moza toured the Qatar National Library building and the heritage library, which includes a number of rare historical books, texts and manuscripts related to Arab and Islamic civilisation, in addition to visiting the different sections and facilities of the library.
