The app gained mass appeal since it was launched last year and it functions in both English and Arabic, offering a comprehensive list of services. With the help of the app's range of inter-operational features, customers can log into their accounts, view balance statements, review the last ten transactions, pay utility bills, such as electricity, water, mobile and fixed line bills free of charge, choose different payment options and more within a minute.
Any service that is offered in real time is available on the app at the customer's convenience to give them better control and autonomy over their banking transactions. The app can also conduct fund transfers in multiple currencies between Bank Sohar accounts or those of other banks instantly through MpClear. Customers can also request cheque books, manage their fixed deposit accounts, request demand drafts as well as make service requests.
