Jordan, Britain discuss cooperation in higher education


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 1 (Petra) -- Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ahed Al-Wahadneh, on Wednesday, received Head of the International Office at the British University of Queens Belfast, Rachael McGuickin and discussed with her forming joint research teams and exchange of faculty members and student.

During the meeting, Al-Wahadneh expressed hope to further boosting cooperation in the future, especially benefiting from the University of Queens Belfast's expertise and scientific and research capacities.

McGuickin underlined her university's contusions support to the Middle East, especially Jordan, noting that the University of Queens Belfast has signed joint cooperation agreements with twelve Jordanian universities.

The University of Queens Belfast was founded in 1845, one of the top 100 universities in the world and is a pioneer in the field of medical and pharmaceutical sciences.
