(MENAFN) UAE has started the enforcement of the excise tax for October 2017 as of today, according to a report by Al Bayan newspaper.
The tax plans applies to companies registered with the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
The excise tax officially took effect on October 1, which is a form of indirect tax levied on specific goods.
