UAE, Jordan sign 12 deals


(MENAFN)The UAE and Jordan on Tuesday signed 12 agreements, protocols, memoranda of understanding and executive programs in order to enhance relations between the two countries.

Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Minister Abdullah Al Nahyan both signed the deals in Abu Dhabi at the conclusion of the third session of the Jordan-UAE ministerial committee.

The deals would contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries and opening wider horizons for cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said.

The memoranda of understanding included financial and technical cooperation, mutual recognition of conformity certificates and quality mark for products between Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology and the UAE Authority for Standardization and Metrology.
