UPM Raflatac is labeling a smarter future at Andina Pack 2017

(MENAFNEditorial) UPM Raflatac is labeling a smarter future at Andina Pack 2017 (UPM Raflatac, Mills River, NC, USA, October 31, 2017 at 18:00 EET) - At this year's Andina Pack in Bogota, Colombia from November 7-10, UPM Raflatac is labeling a smarter future through its sustainable packaging solutions and innovative technologies designed to educate brand owners on industry-leading packaging decoration methods that can elevate their brands.

When paired with the right package, high quality label materials help brands stand out on the shelf and grab consumer attention - and UPM Raflatac's paper and film products for craft beer, food and beverage to home and personal care containers outshine the rest. Show attendees are invited to visit UPM Raflatac at booth 2610 in the Materials and Containers Pavilion (Hall 18-23) to see its new brand promise labeling a smarter future in action!

The company has partnered with Clemson University in the United States to develop their first-ever RafStore Virtual Reality tool, which is an interactive consumer shopping experience completed with education, engagement and entertainment. Within the RafStore, players can "shop" virtual store shelves stocked with a variety of beverages and home and personal care items - and see for themselves how important the label is when choosing a product.

UPM Raflatac will also feature the new RafMATCH UP game, where booth visitors will have the opportunity to become a certified "Film Superstar" by correctly choosing the best film label material for each personal care container type.

Labels matter and that is why the company wants to help its customers and brand owners to make sustainable choices when selecting label materials. As a part of the company's commitment to sustainability, they will be demonstrating the Label Life concept, an environmental life cycle assessment tool that helps customers and end-users understand the impacts of different label materials.

Continued growth in South America with new terminal in ChileUPM Raflatac recently announced it be expanding its presence in the Latin American pressure-sensitive label market with the opening of a new slitting and distribution terminal in Santiago, Chile in early 2018. This new terminal will allow UPM Raflatac to improve its service capabilities and offer an expanded range of paper and film products to customers in the region, particularly in the wine and craft beverage segments.

"We want to develop labeling solutions that help brand owners, businesses and customers increase their impact, sales and operational efficiency," says Andreu Gombau, Director, Sales, South America, UPM Raflatac. As we continue to grow in South America with the opening of our new Chilean terminal, we will be there to meet brand owners' needs by offering them high quality products and world-class service."

Don't miss us at the Speakers Corner!Andina Pack attendees are invited to join UPM Raflatac for the "Speakers Corner" in the Edificio Conector Sur on Tuesday, November 7 at 3:00 p.m. to learn about consumer goods packaging trends.
