Qatar- Metrash2 updates with a new feature

Now you can log in to Metrash2 using your fingerprint, provided your phone supports this feature.

After the latest update, Ministry of Interior has introduced this latest feature on Metrash2 making it very easy for the user to access the services.

You need to update the Metrash2 app from the Google Play store or iphone app store and then register your fingerprint by entering your PIN code. The app prompts you to place your finger on the fingerprint scanner of your phone and it's done.

The whole process will take less than a minute and the next time you login to the app, it will prompt you for your fingerprint scan. You can also use your earlier PIN code to access the app if needed.

Metrash2 offers many Residence Permit services including replacing lost or damaged ID cards without visiting security departments or services centres.

Metrash2 is available in six languages including Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Urdu and Malayalam. There are 211 electronic services are available through Metrash2 and the website of the Ministry.

Among the services which are available on Metrash 2 are visa, residence, community police, renewal of driving license, traffic violations, issue or replacement for damaged driving license, travel exit permit, and transfer vehicle ownership.

You can also report cybercrimes through Metrash2.
