New capital to be built in Jordan


(MENAFN)Prime Minister Hani Mulki in Jordan said, on Sunday that a new capital is planned to be established outside Amman in an effort to develop the economy of the country and attract qualitative investments.

Mulki pointed out that the town is to be built on state lands and surrounded by state lands.

The prime minister described the project as a great investment opportunity that will play a major role in the private sector while he was in a meeting with presidents of Jordanian universities.

He added that this project is designed to contribute in creating solutions to the transportation problems in Amman.
