Qatar- Transind Holding staff gets traffic safety training

The General Directorate of Traffic recently conducted traffic safety training for the employees and drivers of the Transind Holding, a Doha based business group with more than 1,500 staff.
The training session was held at the headquarters of the Traffic Department and covered various important subjects and safe driving techniques that will help the drivers to become more vigilant on roads and save their lives on the roads.
It focuses on common traffic mistakes among the drivers and for around 300 staff and drivers working with different sections of the company attended it.
'The traffic safety is not only the responsibility of the Traffic Department, but also a joint responsibility between the Traffic Department and general public whether they are drivers or passengers or pedestrians, said traffic awareness officer Lt. Abdul Wahid Ghareeb Al Anzi, from the Traffic Awareness and Media Department under the General Directorate of Traffic.
The Traffic Department and other concerned agencies in Qatar are spending maximum efforts for making our roads safer and the general public have to cooperate and support the activities, efforts and initiatives of the department for ensuring safety on our roads, said Lt. Al Anzi. Lt. Al Anzi urged the attendees to spread the information and knowledge they will be imparted during the training to other drivers and colleagues in the company and advised to get maximum benefit from the session.
HR Manager of the Group Shahanas Babu said that the company is committed to ensure safety and care for the drivers and in this context we are conducting this training for about 300 staff and drivers from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
