Gendarmerie director, US Charge d'Affaires discuss security cooperation
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 30 (Petra) -- Director-General of the Gendarmerie Department Maj. Gen, Hussein Hawatmeh, and U.S. Charge d'Affaires Henry Wooster, on Monday discussed ways to boost security cooperation and coordination in technical and training fields.
At the meeting, Maj. Gen. Hawatmeh underlined the importance of the joint cooperation towards serving the interests of both countries.
For his part, Wooster commended the advanced level reached by the gendarmerie forces at the local and international levels. He also emphasized the importance of bolstering partnership in security domains between the two countries.
