Jordan- Turkish Embassy marks declaration of republic anniversary
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 30 (Petra)--The Turkish Embassy in Amman on Sunday organized a ceremony to mark the 94th anniversary of the declaration of the Turkish Republic.
In remarks during the ceremony, Turkish Ambassador to Jordan Murat Karagoz highlighted the strong ties between Jordan and Turkey in various fields.
& quot;This year's celebration has a special importance as it coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Jordan and Turkey, & quot; the ambassador added.
A photo exhibition showcasing 70 years of Jordanian-Turkish relations was also held on the sidelines of the event, which was attended by a number of royal family members, officials, diplomats as well as journalists.
