Qatar-headquartered Quality Group International has announced its first business venture in East Asia based out of Malaysia.
The project was formally handed over to Shamsudheen Olakara, Chairman of Quality Group, by Dato Sri Ikmal Hisham bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the prestigious Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara Inc) Group. Various agreements were signed during the event.
The first outlet of the partnership, due to start functioning in Malacca, boasts of 127,000 sq. feet hypermarket.
The new hypermarket will feature a range of provisions, household items, and a wide range of food and non-food products, inclusive of cooking stations, fresh food counters, butchery, roastery, bakery and delicatessen. Besides food provisions, an entire floor of the hypermarket will be dedicated to an extensive selection of clothing, fashion and footwear accessories, electronics, home appliances, furniture, toys and more.
