Paris: The State of Qatar has participated in the Global Forum on Investment organised by BlackRock Asset Management in Paris in collaboration with the French government.
The State of Qatar was represented in the forum by Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), H E Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani .
The forum was held in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron as well as a number of ministers and government officials and heads of some sovereign funds and international companies.
The forum discussed the investment opportunities and presented perceptions of the economic sector in France.
HE Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) met with HE Assistant Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Emmanuel B., in the presence of HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of France Khalid bin Rashid Al Mansouri. During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them in the field of investment.
