Oman- 1,500 Indian school students to take part in Jhankaar Spectrum 2017


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Around 1,500 students from 16 Indian schools in Oman are expected to take part in the inter-school cultural competition Jhankaar Spectrum this year on November 2.

The inaugural function will be held in Indian School Muscat's (ISM) multipurpose hall at 8.30am.

H E Indra Mani Pandey, India's Ambassador to Oman will declare the event open. Dr Thashli from the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman said, 'We shall have 1,500 exceptionally talented students competing under 28 events at 19 different venues on the school premises. As many as 450 teachers, 250 student volunteers and 85 qualified, experienced and neutral judges will also be involved in this mega event.'

The highlights of the day will include dance and art events, Indian music (solo and group), western music (solo and group), other performing art events. The school that secures the maximum number of points at the end of the events will be declared the winner of 'Jhankaar Spectrum 2017'.
