Kuwait- Five Asians held for bootlegging

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 28: The Farwaniya police have arrested five Asians for bootlegging, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the suspects were arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. The daily quoting a security source said a police patrol on routine duty in the suburb suspected one of the men, chased and arrested him. During interrogation he admitted to bootlegging and led police to his partners. Police have seized from the suspects bottles of booze ready for sale.

2 held with liquor: Public Security personnel arrested three people in Bneid Al-Qar for the possession of 200 bottles of locally brewed liquor, reports Al Anba daily. During a random patrol in the area, the securitymen suspected the trio and decided to check them. Upon sensing the advancing patrol, the trio attempted to escape but they were apprehended. They were interrogated during which securitymen discovered the suspects were on their way to deliver liquor to their customers.
