Two die in Sharjah car crash, eight injured

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Two died and eight others were injured in a car crash on Sharjah's Malaiha road on Friday.

Two people, including a Filipino and a Pakistani in their late 30s died on the spot while eight others received moderate to serious injuries. The injured were being treated at Al Dhaid Hospital.

The operation room at Al Dhaid were alerted about the accident via a call, after which a patrol team, traffic experts and an ambulance were immediately dispatched to the site.

The bodies were shifted to the morgue of Al Dhaid hospital. The injured were taken to the emergency room.

The police said that crash occurred on Malaiha road due to over speeding and not paying attention to the road.
