(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- Egyptian armed forces on Saturday detained three militants and seized a cache of explosives in central Sinai, the military said in a statement.
The troops have also located a four-wheel vehicle and motorbikes, concealed in a cave at a mountainous location.
The operation was part of the armed forces ongoing combat against terrorist and criminal elements in Central Sinai.
Armed radical groups, namely the so-called Islamic State, often attack government forces and targets in Sinai, and the state forces retaliate by raiding their hideouts.
