Kuwait- Egyptian expat victim of 'force'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: Police are looking for 5 people, including a Kuwaiti, for kidnapping an Egyptian and forcing him to sign a contract and promissory notes, reports Al-Anba daily. This came when the Egyptian filed a complaint with the Fintas Police Station. He said the suspects took him from Salmiya and detained him in an apartment for 12 hours in Fintas where he was forced to sign the documents. He added he is a business partner with the Kuwaiti.

Smuggling bid foiled: Personnel from the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC) have arrested an Arab man for attempting to smuggle 500 grams of meth into the country, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily quoting security sources said, the customs officers at the air freight department acting on a tip-off alerted the GDDC and the man was seized after he received the parcel which came from an unidentified European country.
