Saudi Arabia's investment zone plan to be introduced in Jordan
(MENAFN)A $500 billion project by Saudi Arabia has been welcomed in Jordan on Wednesday. This project aims to develop the business and industrial zone in both; Jordan and Egypt.
"The project, which will connect Asia to Africa by creating a special zone stretching from Saudi Arabia's borders to Jordan and Egypt, will strengthen the economies of the three countries, enhance trade and open new markets for their exports," a government official said to The Jordan Times on Wednesday.
It is easy for Jordan to attract investments and help them develop with having to face any problems, since it has been politically and socially stable. Jordan is also always ready to embrace highly qualified human resources in its ground and can collaborate with others in the creation of such mega project that helps strengthen inter-Arab trade ties, the official said.
