Trump: did he or did he not order Niger Mission?

(MENAFN) On Wednesday, President Trump claimed that he did not "specifically" order the military mission in Niger this month that led to the death of four American soldiers.

Trumps had granted authority to his generals prior to his departure for Texas, according to the commander in chief who informed reporters on South Lawn of the White House.

The President said "I have generals - they are great generals, I gave them the authority to do what's right so that we win. That's the authority they have. I want to win and we're going to win, and we're beating ISIS very badly."

However, investigation is still ongoing for various inquiries are yet to be answered regarding the Niger ambush. Last week, Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said "we owe you more information, more importantly, we owe the families of the fallen more information."
