Qatar- Step By Step Centre to conduct Open House

Step By Step Centre for Special Needs (SBS) is going to hold an ‘Open House Event' on November 4, Saturday from 10am to 2pm. The centre will conduct free-of-cost multi-sensory and multi-therapy group session run by their specialists. These sessions will include hand-on sensory games, communication/social interaction activities and songs.
SBS specialist team including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and special educators will provide information to parents and caregivers.
Talking to The Peninsula, Nasreen Sharif, Managing Director at SBS said: 'Step By Step Centre will be holding an ‘OPEN HOUSE EVENT' where families with children with learning, sensory, behavior and communication challenges will be able to attend and have a chance to see the specialists working with children. This 4-hour event will include free multi-therapeutic group sessions and free consultation for interested families.
'The children will participate in several games which include physical motor exercises, animal walk race, motor activities, brain gym exercise, yoga, music and action , hand painting, scrabble games and many more. Children will learn about our onsite school based programs including tailored teacher training workshops, individual and group therapy sessions, she added.
Expressing concern about the parents, Sharif said: 'Parents will get an opportunity to meet our experienced therapists and specialists in this field including applied behavior analyst (ABA), speech and language pathology (SLP), occupational therapy (OT) and early intervention program (EIP). Parents can avail free consultation , who are concerned regarding their children development and performance.
