Saudi Crown Prince, US Treasury Sec. discuss investment, trade areas
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- Most important issues in investment and trade areas featured high in a meeting held between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs and Chairman of Board of Directors of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), and visiting US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Wednesday.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative, said Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The two sides also reviewed a number of issues of common interest, it noted.
The US official arrived in Riyadh today as part of a Middle Eastern tour that would also take him to the UAE, Qatar and Israel.
The tour aims to focus on a number of issues, mainly Iranian file and means of countering terrorism, SPA reported. (end) mdm.hm
