Two males killed in shooting at Grambling State University


(MENAFN)A gunman is on the loose after shooting a student and a campus visitor at Grambling State University, and the gunman is on the loose, officials said Wednesday.

The authorities received calls from campus police who heard the gun shooting and hurried to the place where the noise came from, and found two males on the ground of the historically black university campus, said Will Sutton, the university"s director of communications.

The two males are Earl Andrews, who is 23-year-old, and Monquiarious Caldwell, who is also 23. They were both pronounced dead at the scene, Sutton told The Washington Post.

"An unknown suspect shot the two of them and fled," Sutton cofirmed.
As of early Wednesday, the shooter is still on loose, a Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Department spokesman said.
