(MENAFN)Zidane, Ronaldo's boss at Real Madrid, as fascinated as anybody else out there who is a huge fan of Ronaldo, added his opinion saying the Portuguese is the best player of his generation.
"He is the best by a long way," said to the AFP.
Ronaldo played very proficiently in the last season, scoring 10 times from the quarterfinals of the Champions League as Real won a first La Liga and European Cup double in 59 years.
On the other hand, Messi has already scored 15 times in all competitions for Barcelona this season and defeated Ecuador earlier this month to ensure Argentina makes it to next year's World Cup.
Because of the suspension, Ronaldo was not able to stick to the campaign, as he has missed Real's first four La Liga games, and only managed to score one goal in his past five matches and was inefficient once again in front of goal as Madrid eased past Eibar 3-0 on Sunday.
