Double homicide in the grounds of Grambling State University


(MENAFN) At Grambling State University, following a clash that started in a dorm room, one student and his friend were lethally shot. Based on a sheriff's spokesman, the assailant escaped the scene right away.

Detectives are investigating the double homicide scene supporting the campus police after receiving emergency calls on Wednesday, said Stephen Williams, Lincoln Parish Sheriff's spokesman.

William declared that "it was an altercation that started inside one of the dorm rooms and spilled out into the courtyard, we're interviewing witnesses."

According to Will Sutton, Grambling State University Media Relations Director, the victims are identified as Earl Andrews, Grambling senior, and his friend Monquiarius Caldwell. Both victims are confirmed to be 23 years old and grew up in Farmerville, Louisiana.
