(MENAFN) The owner of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent hopes for a "record" year, among strong sales growth.
The company's earnings reached 3.9b Euro in the 3 months until the end of last month, a 23% increase.
Jean-Marc Duplaix chief financial officer said: "The overall environment remains conducive for luxury goods and we are still well-positioned to continue out-performing the industry."
Duplaix said that the growth could lead to more competition in the market, but they were working to protect the brand's individuality.
