Kuwait's higher education ministry signs accord with Emirati uni.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DUBAI, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Ministry of Higher Education signed Tuesday an accord with Zayed University to provide scholarships for Kuwait's students.

Signing the agreement on part of Kuwait was head of the cultural bureau in Dubai Dr. Murdhi Al-Ayyash who told KUNA that the ministry was keen on sending students to seek education UAE universities.

Universities in the Emirates are well regarded and respected by the global educational community, said Dr. Al-Ayyash who commended Zayed University for providing a chance for Kuwaiti students eager to study at their facilities.

There are around 1,000 Kuwaiti students registered in different universities in the UAE.

Zayed University was founded in 1998 it is one of the three government-run universities in the Emirates. The President of the University is Sheikha Lubna Al-Qasimi. (end) smr.gta
