(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC) has won several accolades at the Maritime Standards Award 2017, said a statement Tuesday.
KOTC said in a statement that it won the best marine crewing and manning award and the best tanker operator of the year, at an event held Dubai.
CEO Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah had also won an award for his leadership skills. This is the third occasion in which KOTC won the award.
On his part, Sheikh Talal lauded all those who contributed to the company's success, affirming that KOTC will continue to update its fleet to meet international standards.
KOTC was established in 1957 as one of the first Gulf companies specialized in oil and natural gas transportation. (end) osj.gta
